The first thing most people want to know about car rental in Salalah is the daily rate, so here it is upfront. What Changes the Price of a Rental Car in Salalah
Four things move the rate.
1. Season
Season matters most. Khareef, from late June to September, is the busiest time in Dhofar, and rates rise with demand. Spring and early summer are the quietest and best value.
2. Rental Length
Rental length makes a real difference. Weekly and monthly bookings bring the daily rate down noticeably, which is why many expats and project teams rent with us month to month.
3. Car Type
Car type should match your route. An economy sedan handles the city, beaches and most tourist roads comfortably, so only pay for a 4WD if you are heading to Jabal Samhan, desert tracks or the Empty Quarter.
4. Pickup Point
Pickup point makes no difference with us. Collecting your car at Salalah International Airport costs the same as a city or hotel pickup.

A tip from our team: in Khareef, the mountain roads toward Ayn Khor, Ittin and Jabal Qara can drop to a few metres of visibility in fog.
